Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Lync have not been tested on macOS 10.13 High Sierra, and no formal support for this configuration will be provided.
I just upgraded to MacOS High Sierra from MacOS Sierra. The MS Outlook of my MS 365 suddenly failed to operate due to new OS. Does MS Outlook have a new version to work with MacOS High Sierra? May 12, 2016 I would leave Outlook open all day while working and have no issues at all. Ever since 15.22, after about an hour of running it suddenly and drastically starts using more and more of my CPU, and then internal fan of the MacBook sounds like a jet engine.
